If I were a fan of 'shrooms, I'd be sure to check that out. But I am a fan of premade foods, though. And I did visit that farmer's market last summer, but spent a lot more time at the Tremont Farmer's Market in Lincoln Park which ran every Tuesday afternoon. Thanks for the suggestions, Jeff. Love the sculpture of the snap-together motorcycle hanging from the ceiling, too. Suggestion: visit the small farmers' market in Shaker Square, called the North Union Farmers Market, which unfortunately is only open 9AM to noon on Saturdays next to Dewey's. There is a guy there selling mushrooms of amazing quality. Also available: onions, potatoes, oils, honeys, and several kinds of premade foods like empanadas and pies. B Spot makes a great burger.
