Yesterday I attended the funeral of a friend who died much too young and who I only wish I had gotten to know better. Petar was an amazing human being, a generous spirit, and a kind soul. Raised in Cleveland, he lived for many years in San Diego where he worked as an architect, artist, and environmental activist. He touched so many people’s lives and fought the good fight all along, always with an infectious sense of humor and an obvious passion and love of life.
Read more about Petar, his projects and his life and enormous positive influence, here and here.
Rest in peace, my friend.

Thanks Paul. And thanks for stopping by.
Wow, what a loss. That tribute to him really brought him to life. And how wonderful to be able to hear him read one of his poems even after he’s gone. Thanks for sharing that link, Miles.
Thanks, John. It is a tragic loss, but he touched so many people with his genuineness and love that this will keep him and his spirit alive.
