There’s a new lunch joint in downtown Cleveland; Tucky’s, on the SE corner of E. 12th and Superior. I noticed it this morning as I got off the bus and walked to work. So for lunch, I stopped in and had a Detroit Coney Island hot dog (they do dogs and burgers, mainly.)
The dog was OK (maybe a 5.5 out of 10) but at $3.50, methinks a tad overpriced. (Especially considering you can get a mighty fine 100% beef jumbo dog at the Hot Dog Diner on Brookpark near State Road for under 2 bucks.)
I’ll have to go back and try a burger some day and maybe an order of sweet pototo fries. They also have milkshakes on the menu made from vanilla custard (though they were out today) and, in my opinion, no place that offers Nantucket Nectar can be that bad. (But $2.75 for a bottle? Come on…)
