You just haven’t experienced Australia until you’ve been in a ferry, crossing Sydney Harbour, in a thunderstorm. And oh yeah, standing outside on the ferry taking pictures while sane passengers huddle inside, protected from the icy cold winds and rain. Me and a teenage kid were the only ones outside. “It aint so bad out here, right?” I ask him. “Nah, mate” he says.

Of course, braving the elements does have its rewards.
