OK, so I’ve been incommunicado for a few days here in Bosnia. Some minor technical difficulties, but everything is OK now. I’ve been hangin’ in Pale, about 10 miles outside Sarajevo, since Monday.
Spent the day in Sarajevo with my friend Tanja where we went on our own personal “hajj” visiting mosques, orthodox, and catholic churches in and around Bascarsija, the oldest quarter of the city.
All that walking made us hungry. So, we stopped at Zeljo’s for “cevapi”, a Bosnian grilled ground lamb kebab specialty served with warm fresh-baked bread and a side of chopped onions. Dee-lic-ous!
