It’s winter here in Sydney, which means day-time temps are in the 50s and 60s. So the popular Bondi Beach SE of the city wasn’t as crowded as it would be during the height of summer. Still, it was a pleasant and brisk walk along the beach. And yes, those are swimmers in the water.

Across the street from the beach are your typical beach-town traps; tourist shacks selling chotchkis, surfer gear, and fast food joints, including the Aussie equivalent of BK.


And of course, no beach would be complete without some graffiti. I’m still trying to figure out if this is legit graffiti or done with city approval. There was probably a 1/4-mile long wall covered with some really good artwork.
